A habit tracker without streaks

ODDALoop builds habits without streak counters, without an account, and without making you feel bad for missing a day.

Most habit apps run on streaks. Do the thing every day and a number climbs; miss once and it falls to zero. The streak is meant to motivate you. Often it does the opposite — protecting the number becomes the goal, and the first missed day becomes the reason to stop.

ODDALoop leaves the streak out.

Advance by attendance, not by the calendar

Each routine follows a simple loop: Open, Do, Done, Advance — the ODDA in the name. It moves forward when you show up to it, not because midnight passed and you now “owe” it a tick. There’s no chain to break, so there’s nothing to lose by living a normal, uneven week.

No account, no audience

There’s nothing to sign up for and no feed to perform for. You open it and start. It installs as an app, works offline, and keeps your data on your device — habits are a private thing, and ODDALoop treats them that way.

Who it’s for

People who’ve fallen off the streak wagon one too many times. If a single missed day usually ends the whole experiment, a tracker that doesn’t punish the miss might be the one that finally sticks.

More on the thinking behind it in small, honest software.

What it does

  • No streaks There's no chain to break and no number that drops to zero. Miss a day and you simply carry on.
  • Advance by attendance Each routine moves forward when you show up — Open, Do, Done, Advance — not because the calendar rolled over.
  • No account Nothing to sign up for. Open it and start; your habits are yours.
  • Works offline It installs as an app, keeps working without a connection, and keeps your data on your device.

Questions

Why a habit tracker without streaks?
Streaks turn one missed day into a reason to quit — protecting the number starts to matter more than the habit itself. ODDALoop drops the streak so a slip stays a slip, not a reset.
What does advance by attendance mean?
Each routine follows a loop — Open, Do, Done, Advance. It moves forward when you actually do it, rather than expecting a tick from you every single day on the calendar.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, so you can start straight away.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing is lost. There's no streak to reset and no guilt screen — you pick up where you left off.
Does it work offline, and is my data private?
Yes. ODDALoop installs as an app and works offline, and your data stays on your device rather than on someone's server.
Who makes ODDALoop?
ODDALoop is built by Drizzlelabs, an independent UK software studio.
