The studio

One person, shipping their own tools.

Drizzlelabs is a one-person software studio in the UK. I design, build, and run small tools — and I write here about how they're made.

What this is

Drizzlelabs builds tiny, single-purpose software and ships it. Each tool does one job and gets out of the way. There's no roadmap of features bolted on to justify a subscription, and no plan to become a platform.

The studio is one person: me, Thomas Bradley. I own the tools, run the servers, answer the email, and decide what gets built. Keeping it small is the point, not a stage to grow out of.

Why it exists

Most software wants something from you — your attention, your data, a recurring charge for capacity you don't use. I wanted to make the other kind: tools you can pick up, use, and keep, that never treat you as the product.

So the rules are simple. One job, done well. No ads, ever. Your data stays yours, local-first wherever it can be. Shipped, not someday. They're not a marketing line — they're the constraints I actually build inside.

How it's built

Fast, with care. I use modern tooling and work closely with Claude to move quickly without cutting the corners that matter — the boring ones, like accessibility, performance, and not losing your data. Speed and care aren't a trade-off here; the small scope is what makes both possible.

Who's behind it

I'm Thomas Bradley, a developer in the UK. I got tired of waiting for someone else to build the small tools I wanted, so I started building them myself — Drizzlelabs is where they live. You can see more of my work, including things outside the studio, on my site.

What the studio offers

Mostly its own products — a handful of tools, each with its own home on the web. Alongside them I take on a small number of product and engineering projects: zero-to-one builds, front-end and interface work, AI-assisted features, and technical advisory. The work section on the homepage has the short version.

The company

Drizzlelabs is Drizzlelabs Ltd, registered in England & Wales, Company No. 17285811, and based in the UK. The fastest way to reach me is email.
